Tell us about your professional role:
I studied digital media at Liberty University and had the opportunity to intern at WSET during my last semester of college. During my internship, I was able to build relationships with the team and as my internship ended, I was offered a job. I love working as a news producer, there is never a dull moment! Putting together a newscast is nothing short of a team effort and I am so proud to be a small part of it.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Being from Charlotte, North Carolina I am used to a big city but I have come to love Central Virginia and all it has to offer. In my free time, I love to work out, try new cocktails and spend time with friends!
Who or what inspires you? I am inspired by my parents. They are active in their community and make sure it is a place people want to live. They remind me every day that it is important to invest in the place you live in. I have made it my goal to invest in this community because I have seen first-hand how special it is.
What's something about not many people know? I studied American History my first two years at Liberty University - it's my minor! I am fascinated by American War History.
Why did you join YPCV? I joined YPCV to meet other young adults in the community and network! I would love to make new friends in the area.
