In 2018, YPCV hosted four Lessons from Leaders luncheons featuring Tim Groover of Wiley|Wilson, Todd Hall of First National Bank, Rosana Chaidez of NB Handy, and ended the year with a co-hosted event with Megan Lucas and Christine Kennedy of the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance. We are excited to announce this year's first event will kick-off with Karen Simonton, Chief Financial Officer of OrthoVirginia.
Lessons From Leaders is designed to connect the region's young professionals with business leaders to offer professional development, career growth, and networking opportunities. In any industry, relationships are incredibly valuable and we wanted to give our YP's the opportunity to go straight to the top to connect with C-level executives. This event is very small – it’s limited to 10 participants and allows for one-on-one time with the guest speaker. We invite you to join us on May 3 at 11:30 a.m. for lunch with Karen Simonton. OrthoVirginia is the state's largest provider of expert orthopaedic and therapy care which serves the needs of its patients through a team of highly trained specialists. OrthoVirignia has locations in Lynchburg, Northern Virignia, and Richmond. Ms. Simonton will share her experience as a leader in healthcare and finance.
